This afternoon we learnt about the different fruits which grow in the rainforests. Tropical fruit is an important part of the diet of many Amazon tribes, and these tribes are able to pick fruit freshly from the jungle trees.
As part of our learning we were even able to try various rainforest fruits, including grapefruit, mangos, passion fruit, kiwi and sharon fruit. Surprisingly the grapefruit was the class favourite, although Mr Bellingham preferred the mango! What is your favourite tropical fruit?
